Funding Criteria
The Scott Peoples Foundation is a charitable foundation set up to support the development of junior cycling in regional Victoria. The Foundation commenced distributing funds held in 2008. Applications for funding can be made as per the instructions below.

- Clubs/organisations/associations associated with junior cycling
- Individual cyclists

Criteria for funding applications:
Funding is for Junior cycling activities. For individual applicants the applicant must be a junior as per the racing license applicable.
A successful application will:
- Set out how much funding is sought (Where appropriate a budget may be attached to the application).
- Explain how the Applicant is in NEED of funding from the Scott Peoples Foundation. The application will also indicate that requests for other sources of possible funding have been exhausted.
- Explain how the funding of the Application will support junior cycling in regional Victoria. For example, the application may explain how many people will be benefitted by the funding of the application or any other relevant consideration
- Explain how the Applicant, if funded, will report back to the Board of the Foundation as to how the funds were spent/ how the funds actually supported junior cycling.
- Explain how the Foundation will be acknowledged for funding the application (ie signage, media acknowledgment etc).
How do I apply?
Please complete our funding application form and submit the form with supporting documentation. Funding rounds are to be held in March, June and September each year. Applications must be in prior to the end of each of these months in order to be considered in that round of funding.
The ultimate decison regarding funding is made by the Board. The Board will determine the weight given to any given criterion and will consider the application in light of the other applications made in the funding period. The Board will also take into account any other consideration it considers relevant at the time the funding decisions are made.
